Double cleansing: the technique to properly remove impurities

It consists of cleansing the face with two products: an oil-based cleanser and then a water-based one.
Even if you didn't wear makeup that day, when you apply the oil cleanser, you can see the residue from products like sunscreen and external agents like sweat and pollution that were on your skin.
But if I have oily skin should I also do it?
You might be surprised to hear this, but even if you have oily skin or high sebum production, it's recommended. Here's why: unlike a lighter cleanser like micellar water, foam, or makeup remover, oil penetrates the pores better and removes all the stored dirt. By thoroughly cleansing the top layer of the skin, the pores are better able to eliminate the impurities that form the notorious blackheads.
And the same applies to dry or sensitive skin . If this is your case, you might think it's too harsh for your face, but with the right products, it's not a problem.
When should I do it?
Although many people start at night because that's when they usually have the most time and their skin is in the worst condition, we recommend doing it both in the morning and at night. After all, our face not only needs to be purified after a day of external aggressions like sweat or pollution, but when we wake up, our skin often has excess oil and sweat, giving it a shiny appearance. In fact, cleansing products used in the morning effectively remove these waste products produced by our skin during the natural oxygenation that occurs at night.
