Your facial ice cube - Kubi Beauty has multiple benefits: it helps reduce inflammation, tighten pores, exfoliate the skin, and helps with blemishes.
But can we enhance these benefits by making the perfect cocktail? Here are several mixology recipes to help you create the perfect one for you.
First, we teach you how to use your Kubi
1. Rice Water - Anti-aging
Rice water is rich in amino acids, antioxidants, and minerals that can reduce or even delay the skin aging process. Rice is a favorite ingredient in Korean beauty for its many benefits. Rice water inhibits the activity of elastase, an enzyme responsible for skin aging, helping to maintain skin elasticity and potentially reducing the appearance of signs of aging.
Recipe:
- Add half a cup of rice to a bowl and soak it in 2 cups of filtered water. After a few hours, drain the rice and transfer the water to the Kubi Beauty Facial Bucket.
- Transfer the mixture to your Kubi through the small hole until it is full and place it in the freezer for 6 to 8 hours.
- Once frozen, run the frozen ice under cold water for 10 seconds to remove the top layer of dry ice.
- Apply to clean skin in circular motions for 3 to 8 seconds.
- Rinse with cold or warm water and follow with your favorite moisturizer.
2. Coconut Milk - Moisturizing and Anti-aging
Coconut milk has high levels of vitamin C, which helps maintain skin elasticity and suppleness. It's also rich in copper, which prevents wrinkles, sagging skin, and age spots.
There are several milk options, the one we recommend is Güd, an organic, unsweetened coconut milk.
Recipe:
- Pour coconut milk into the Kubi Ice Facial Cube through the hole until it is full and place it in the freezer for 6 to 8 hours or overnight.
- Pass the frozen ice cube through water for 10 seconds to remove the top layer of dry ice.
- Apply to clean skin using circular movements for 3 to 8 seconds.

5. Aloe Vera - Moisturizing, antiseptic, regenerating
Aloe vera helps prevent dehydration, as it retains moisture better in the skin . It also has cleansing and astringent properties, making it a good remedy for fighting acne and improving oily skin. Adding the power of ice to your face will help cleanse your face thanks to its antiseptic and antioxidant properties, which will help regenerate your skin. Here's how to prepare Aloe vera gel for your Kubi.
You can use Benton's Aloe Real Cool Soothing Gel and mix it thoroughly with water to make a gel-liquid mixture. It's made with 93% aloe gel and alcohol-free. But if you prefer, we'll tell you how to prepare a recipe for your Kubi with natural aloe.
Recipe
- It 's recommended that you stop watering the plant five days before preparing the gel. The first thing you should do to make the gel is cut some leaves. If you already have them cut, then skip to the next step.
- Once the leaves are cut, remove the thorns and let it soak for a full day. Change the water every three hours to help the plant remove all the toxic resin called aloin.
- After 24 hours, remove the leaves from the water to peel them. To remove the pulp, cut the leaf with a knife along one side. Open it and, using a spoon, extract all the gel and reserve it in a high-sided container. Try to scrape off as much of the pulp as possible, until you see the skin of the aloe vera leaf.
- When you have removed the pulp from all the leaves and they are in the high-sided container, we recommend that you add a tablespoon of Lemon juice . This citrus fruit has healing properties very similar to those of aloe vera and will also provide multiple benefits. Optionally, you can also add a tablespoon of wheat germ oil , which has a high content of Vitamin E.
- Blend all ingredients with half a cup of water at medium-high speed until you get a whitish paste. Once you're done, pour it into a convenient serving pitcher and fill your Kubi.
- Freeze it overnight to ensure it's cooked properly, then remove it the next morning. To open it, it's best to run it through the water tube.
6. Green tea - antioxidant, anti-aging, for acne, blemishes and eczema, and for sensitive skin.
Green tea contains vitamins C and E, natural antioxidants that help combat facial blemishes like acne and marks. It also contains isoflavones and catechins, perfect components that prevent cellular aging, both in the organs and the skin on your face. Its antioxidant power helps protect the skin from external agents like the sun, thereby delaying the aging process, keeping the complexion fresh, and reducing any type of inflammation. It is very useful for treating acne, pimples, and eczema . It is also antibacterial and can reduce excessive hormonal activity. It is a natural tonic that can achieve a total cleansing of the skin, removing all types of impurities. In the case of very sensitive skin that tends to redden, products containing green tea leaf extract can help soothe and refresh it.
- Boil between 150 and 200 ml of water.
- Place the green tea and let it steep for about 10-15 minutes.
- Cool it slightly at room temperature and then pour it into your Kubi using a jug.
